Step 1: Powerwash to remove dirt and mildew and clean out the pores of the wood for the stain to bite into. Allow time to dry after.
Step 2: Scrape and sand all the loose and flaking product off the areas to be re-stained.
Step 3: Apply the proper amount of coats needed for the area in either a stain or enamel.
